"If it seems to good to be true, it probably is ..." I realize I'm only talking about one dollar here, however, this is about more than a loss of a 'buck'. I opened the box, took out a package and it was not the consistency of a 'powder' - it was hard as a rock. So, just out of curiosity I checked the expiration date on the package I was about to open. I could not believe my eyes. Right there, stamped on the package "20011 10 24" (and, yes, 20011). And it doesn't end there. I also checked the box just to see if the date on the outer box was the same. Well ... on the bottom of the box I found, 'BEST BEFORE JUL222013 07:24'. Hmmmm ...
I'm going to contact the company. I can't really be upset with the grocery store as they would have no way of knowing that the contents of this box are OVER A YEAR OLD ... sheeesh ... I'm guessing that most people would not even bother checking this out. The main reason I did is because I've used this product before, and it should be 'powder' like consistency, not HARD AS A ROCK. This is a matter of principle, not money.
I will stop by the store today and show them my unusual situation and ask for a return. So much for my 'cheap' cuppa this morning! *smile*
