Because I find Dr. Mercola's website so helpful and full of information, I occasionally share his information, with reference and link to the article the information comes from. As with anyone, I don't take everything as "gospel", nor do I agree with everything I read on his website. Being more an alternative, complementary, and new energy medicine person, I like to post and share good information about it.
Whenever I refer to an article, whoever it is, I do include a link so people can read the entire article. In my search for some of my favorite Dr. Mercola quotes I found an article from a woman who used to do the same. Here is her story, and because of her story, I will no longer post information anymore either.

For now, I'm not taking down any previous posts, but I will not post anything else. I agree with Kelly that what he requires is a bit "over the top". If, indeed, this is still the standard requirement.
Here is what I have found on the www.mercola.com website about "proper citing" on your own websites: http://www.mercola.com/Citations/index.htm If I read the terms correctly, I can use his quotes, without having to post his "commercial ad".
It states the following in his terms of service:
Using a Quote from an Article
If you are using a quote from the article, a citation alone will suffice. The citation must use the article's name as the source.
