I enjoy surprises ... not bad or harmful jokes, but just pleasant surprises. I gave a very close friend one, this morning before leaving for work. We talked on Sunday and she mentioned about a doctor's appointment on Tuesday and that it is also her birthday. I knew a birthday card would not reach her in time, so I called this morning and sung Happy Birthday to her ... she was surprised, and pleased! She told me "You made my day, thanks!" That, of course, made me feel good. Nothin' better than a "win-win" situation! *smile* What a fun way to begin our day. I certainly hope she got good news at the doctor, and takes time to celebrate the day of "her birth"!
