I cannot seem to get away from the 24-7 news coverage since the travesty in Connecticut. Now they are telling us how many are dismantling or taking down Christmas decorations because they feel guilty celebrating the holidays, in lieu of the situation. I hope they get far enough along in their grieving that they can find the strength to "celebrate" what is left - find some good, give and accept love to each other and to others in need of something as simple as a "hug". Find some heart healthy ways to not let this sick young man's actions win. . . celebrate, share and love, despite his despicable, horrendous actions against all of these innocent victims. Not that it's a game, but please, don't let him win ... even beyond the grave! Don't let him harden your hearts ... love harder, hug tighter and, cry, cry, cry ... tears can be so very healing. Tell your children each day how much you love them - hug them. Can you imagine how the parents of a child who was shot as many as 11 times must feel right now??? God help us, with such a sickeningly cold and heartless individuals running free and using free will to make choices to mass murder our children - the future of our country?
