There is a difference in being funny and being humanly sensitive to a horrific imprisonment. rivers is more worried about her ego than an apology. But rivers has shown her true colors and they aren't pretty.
@Ani - I agree there is a fine line between being funny and being insensitive. For years, her true colors have not been pretty; this is only one incidence that just happened to hit the headlines. Like I said, I didn't say it is wrong or right. And Joan is certainly not the first or only comedian who has, according to some, overstepped her moral boundaries to get a laugh. Unfortunately, it's part of the comedy business.
