I can't imagine that most people would "intentionally" feed their children genetically engineered foods. It's difficult to demand, or even ask for, better food labeling about this, when the lay person has no idea that there's even a reason to reqeust it, let alone be aware of the possible results.
When I read about GMOs, it leads me not only to nutrition, but also to wellness, big pharma, and mainstream medicine.
One reason the majority of doctors and big pharma don't work with nutritionists, chiropractors, naturopaths, and new energy medcine people is because the very people I just mentioned would lose big bucks! It looks, to me, like they're in it for the money ... it's not about you and me, it's about what's in it, for them ... money, greed, and power. Why else would they put our lives at risk, and continue to push the limits and boundaries of genetically modified, anything ...
If you had the choice to have "radical wellness", rather than "masking" health issues, wouldn't being well be your choice? Instead, mainstream medicine doesn't look for the "root" of an illness, but rather gives you a "pill" to subside or control your stymptoms ... a bandaid. Why take a pill that has more possible side effects than the one medical issue you came to your doctor to address? And this doesn't apply just to a medical issue, but also on an emotional level as well. The psychiatrist gives you a pill ... before even considering that there may be other options. We are such a drug-induced society ... we have been dumbed down, and can't even see it. And, of course, if you get sicker from side effects or from being addicted to the very pills they give you to cure you ... hmmm ... they're going make yet more money ... a merry-go-round of mega bucks, all at our expense - you, your family, and our health!
The sad thing about all of this, to me, is that we hear about how we are an obese nation ... yet, nutritionally, the things that are more healthy for us ... are more expensive ... the GMOs are often unlabeled, and cheaper to purchase. It's what they want us to buy, to fatten their wallets. And, unlike when I was younger (and generations before me), there might have been a half dozen different options or brands of the same product ... how exhausting it is to shop when there are literally "aisles" of the same type of product to choose from ... what's the point? Subliminal advertising sells ... and often not to your benefit!
Drink "good" water ... it's in the water, so much healing is simply ... in the water, along with good choices for nutrition. Both affect you physically, and emotionally (mentally). Along with regular exercise, and natural Vitamin D (outside) ... *smile* ... tip 'o the day to you!
