Before I wrote this I wanted to see what churches keep the Sabbath (Saturday). That in itself was an interesting list. A few I found were Seventh-Day Baptist (never heard of that one before), Seventh-Day Adventist, Church of God, Assembly of God, and some pentecostal. There are approximately 170 different denominations that identify themselves as Pentecostal.
And Church of God, for instance, has been "split off" so many times that I lost track merely reading the list. A gem I found, too, was this: Intercontinental Church of God Garner Ted Armstrong Evangelistic Association (recently split from International, led by Garner Ted Armstrong).
The plethora of faiths and denominations are mind boggling and, of course, they all have the "the way, the truth, and the light", so to speak. I'm just speculating, but I wonder if those who practice their faith on Saturday wouldn't like the option to "shop" at a store like Hobby Lobby on Sunday. And what about atheists; I'm sure either day would be fine with them.
I can see both sides of the issue about their business being closed on Sunday. I say that because right now I could really use a few items from their store for a project I'm working on right now. Tsk, tsk, tsk . . .
