With a resurgence and focus on LGBT and transgender communities, I struggle to be anything but a fence sitter on the complex issues surrounding it's controversy. Generally speaking, I am a pretty open-minded person. It comes natural if you are a bit of a rebel.
Learning about the 'ins and outs', so to speak, of transgenderism (is that even a word?) is about like learning quantum physics, or reading and totally understanding the bible, for example. It's simply not a black and white issue; and then you have people who are close minded enough to not even learn about the issue, at all.
I made a comment somewhere about Caitlyn Jenner and received a response with the following video attached:

Sometimes it just takes standing your ground to make others 'hear' you ... a bit of profanity, and has sub titles, but a good story line.
Another point of view; children talking about having gay parents . . .
