"I am not defending Kathy, or her actions this year. Yes, Kathy Griffin is definitely uncouth, trashy, trampy, loud-mouthed, crude, boorish, and outlandish. And if you asked her, she'd no doubt admit it, and thank you for noticing! She wanted attention, she obviously got it - as I look at all these judgmental comments. First of all, the ones that make comments about what should not be seen by 'children'. Why are your 'children' up so late? And if you knew of her beforehand, why expect her to all of a sudden 'mind her manners' and be somewhat ladylike - that's just not how she rolls! Secondly, you do have the choice to change the channel - I doubt anyone 'forced' you to watch that particular channel and her bizarro and erratic displays. There are many channels that cover New Year's Eve events. If you're so easy to judge her, and her slutty actions, are you as bad, for not turning it off? I am so bored with all this television voyeurism - I can't wait for some television with standards and morals, and maybe even entertaining and humorous (not sick and disgusting). And, speaking of children, do you enjoy and share the moral fiber and fine examples of the "Honey Boo Boo" show?"
Kathy's display on national t.v. on New Year's Eve with Anderson Cooper did not set well with a lot of people. I had to put my two cents worth in, and here's what my comment was:
