And, again, you have no choice. The "timeline" that FB has "offered" its members, is changing that offer, to being mandatory. It will be there soon, on your page, whether you like it or not. They say it's for "convenience" ... that's not what I would call it. The world is your stage on line, ACT accordingly. And, with the ACTA legislation upon us, I would think that Facebook itself would be a bit uncomfortable implementing this timeline (if they are even aware of it). Once I made a decision to leave Facebook, it took me, literally weeks, to finally get everything deleted, and inaccessible. Just because you deactivate your FB account, it does not delete your history. I do weigh on the side of, "don't post anything that you wouldn't say publicly, or that you don't mind having come back to lap you in the face." There are many t.v. stations and t.v. shows that I would enjoy being interactive with, however, they're all in "bed" with so many social websites, making it prohibitive to "freely" interact (no memberships) with them. To me, that infringes upon my personal freedoms.
