Well, here is the end of another year, and a new year that perpetuates the idea that when you wake up on January 1st, your whole life will be different. I guess it doesn't hurt to dream and/or pray for that, if your yesterday and yesteryear was a bust. Change, however, is internal. It has to come from your inner self. It's not going to be given to you, for sure, by turning over a calendar day! It can be different, with desire, effort, and being proactive about the things you want to change in your life.
An optimist stays up until midnight to see the New Year in. A pessimist stays up to make sure the old year leaves.
May all your troubles last as long as your New Year's resolutions!
God, grant me the senility to forget the people I never liked anyway, the good fortune to run into the ones that I do, and the eyesight to tell the difference.
Learn from yesterday, live for today, hope for tomorrow. ~Albert Einstein
Here's to the bright New Year, and a fond farewell to the old; here's to the things that are yet to come, and to the memories that we hold.
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
