No more American Idol for this gal. I'm not a huge fan of Mariah Carey and just learned that she will be replacing Jennifer Lopez. And it has nothing to do with JLo - I wasn't a fan of hers either. I wonder who they will get to replace Steven Tyler. I guess it doesn't matter because I won't be watching anyway.

I agreee. I haven't watched it since Simon left. I don't care for JLo or Steven Tyler so I guess I don't care who takes anyone place.

With American Idol - not a JLo fan anyway ... ok JLo, go ... but the replacements they're considering are not good either. They need people who are 'seasoned', people who will, like Howard, be "stern" (haha) and give honest assessments laced with constructive criticism. With Tyler, I liked him, even though I'm not a huge fan of his either (my musical preferences do not include him). I thought he was a good judge. I am disappointed with Sharon's leaving AGT - she's been a good judge. I don't like the choices they're considering there either. Entertainment idols and their egos are strange bedfellows for being 'judges'! And you can't be a judge of anything if you're going to always be 'nice' ... goes against the very essence of the job. Wish I could put all this in a "TWEET" ... haha ... and send it to ALL OF THEM!
