I am so enjoying Oprah's OWN t.v. channel. It is so refreshing, programming so different from the mainstream. By accident, I've gotten a bit addicted to "Oprah's Lifeclass" nightly program (it follows Rosie). Each night has a particular theme and she will post a daily question. Today's question was, "If you were giving your Last Lecture—your best piece of advice for appreciating life—what would it be? My answer was, "Inhale and embrace the aromas of life, gather flowers of friendship and share the bouquet with others; hear the music and love the dance!" I try to answer each night's question, it's a good time of introspection.
My responses are listed as "anonymous" because in order to be "recognized" you have to be on Facebook or Twitter. Those who know me are aware that I am no longer on Facebook, and I don't "tweet". And because of that, I can't actively participate in Oprah's "afterclass" web time, after the show. That, I don't like. I would like to be able to be an active participant without having to be a member of either of those websites. ... tsk, tsk ... and life goes on ...
