I did grab my camera and took a few photos, as I need to know what kind of snake this is ... why? Because I saw it go down into the foundation of the house. Not only do I need to identify it, I need to know how to kill it (since I have no intentions of doing a pet rescue)! I don't know if I could chop it with a shovel or not.
It's amazing how nervous I get when CONFRONTED by a long, skinny, wiggly snake. UGH, ERRGGH, ER, UH, WAH ... and WTF?! (ooops, sorry for the profanity) I'll now be walking around my own space, looking over my shoulder (so to speak), for this dang SNAKE!
I wonder why snakes this year. I've been here over 5 years and have never seen or been peered at by a snake. I could do without this adversity, for sure. Perhaps it will come back out, and go back where it came from, even if it is a snake hole, in the yard - I just want it to go away and stay out - of my inner domain.
