I stopped at the bank on my way to work this morning. Sasha assisted me and shared some good news she got from her hubby yesterday afternoon. It is my understanding that they were running out of options.
She may qualify for some test trials. I did a "whoop, whoop" little victory dance right there in the bank! All the employees were amused and entertained. I am not a personal friend, but I am a caring bank customer. Even Sasha told me how the encouraging words, positive thoughts, and prayers help.
All these months that she's been off her job, each day I drive by or go to my bank, I automatically think of her, send a positive thought, silent prayer, or make a "heart" gesture with my hands if the stoplight happens to be red!
Cancer is wretched and shows no discrimination of who, when and where it strikes. For me, no matter the (dis)ease, it is sad to see people I love and care about suffer.
Congrats, Sasha, I hope you qualify for these trials you mentioned and perhaps your participation will be a stepping stone to eradicating this horrible (dis)ease! You go, girl!
