I also like to know what's going on with the big chemical, pharma, and food companies. I like to stay informed to see how invasive and controlling they are - in our personal lives. But, maybe enough is enough.
We have had decades of chemicals saturating our grounds and water systems, along with GMOs (genetically modified organisms). No matter which side of the fence you sit when it comes to what you eat, and how you choose to stay healthy (mainstream or complementary medicine), there seems to be more of an attack syndrome 'for and against' rather than simply educating us, with facts.
This may have not been a good subject to tackle this morning. I'm already all over the map here. I'm frustrated with getting overwhelmed - there's almost too much information to absorb. Everything is going to kill us - what we eat, what we don't eat; health and wellness has become a billion-dollar business because of what seems to be an ego centric, youth driven society - and greed. We all have the same demise. None of us are getting out of here alive.
Though I love to learn and have more interest in news, talk radio and politics than I've ever had, the excessive saturation of information is driving me into seclusion from all of them. I've become a believer that the best outlook, for me and my life, is "nothing in excess is healthy" - including print, audio and visual media, regardless of subject matter. You have to take it all with a 'grain of salt', so to speak, and use and believe what works, for you. If we believe everything everyone tells us, there would be no time to "live" because you'd be spending all your time trying not to "die". Whew ...
