Lucky me ... through all of my genealogy travels this past few months, I've connected on line with a few distant cousins, on my mother's side. I met another one today. We connected on line a few months back and, today, he and his wife stopped in at my work. We hugged, chit chatted, and shared a bit of family history. I was so pleased that, in spite of their busy day, they took the time to come and introduce themselves. That's three long lost distant cousins, on my mom's side, that I have actually met now. I only wish that Mom could be here with me, to share in all this. ... all because of a curiosity about my "roots" ... perhaps one day I'll meet and know more "live" relatives, than dead ones, if I live long enough! HAPPY NEW YEAR ... to us!! What a very special way to bring in the new year!

Recently a co-worker said something that I will share. We were talking about how we begin the New Year with such "good intentions". She said, "If good intentions were money, I'd be rich!" I giggled, and agreed!
