Fortunately, there are several people who enjoy both my writings and my photography and are a good source of encouragement. This website is more personal, and my first attempt at web design (using Weebly's templates, and design tools). It worked pretty well and I've kept it all this time. This site is where I learned the use of both.
This is my home website. After losing my friend Dale Dohse, I felt compelled to share his memories and my experiences with him ... regarding Brenda Lee. Little Miss Dynamite was one many things we had in common when working as coworkers at the Omaha World-Herald. I wanted it to be different and more retro than this website.
I chose to continue using Weebly, but wanted a separate home for Dale ... a place to share a plethora of memorabilia, the lion's share being items and experiences about Brenda Lee. These items and stories came to me through our long time friendships, and after a time, were donated to me by his life mate, Scott; I became 'keeper of the gate', so to speak.
Bygonetimes is the name of it. bygonetimes.weebly.com is where you will find it.
I feel Valentine's Day is an appropriate time to 'begin again'. ~nrl
