Funny how life works. Recently I looked at vintage homes and wrote about one, to see if it was still available. Actually, it had been sold two years ago. When she responded to my email she told me that she had taken a look at my website (it's my signature on Yahoo) and enjoyed it. We found we had things in common and have shared a few more emails.
The woman I wrote was the previous owner, who bought it so it would stay in the family. She was fortunate enough to be able to eventually sell it to a neighbor, someone who knew the family and will take pride in it.
Her name is Jennifer Black. She is a professional artist, and the above link will take you to her website. You will also find there the works of her husband, Charlie, who does wood turning; and their daughter, Carrie, who does custom illustration.
