I am an advocate of breast-feeding. I am a person who believes in "personal choice". It is healthy for the infant and usually helps in immunity from disease. What I object to is her flaunting of it. I agree with her that it is a natural function to breastfeed, if you can.
Personally, I always tried to find a place off the beaten path, and still have a cloth to cover my breast. If that was not possible, I at least asked any people present, if they minded, or would be offended. Obviously, she does none of that. And you can hardly call it "bonding", or a private experience, when you choose to go so public!!
Who are we to judge about her choice to breastfeed, and how long. I think it's wrong to be so public and making mega bucks for flaunting it. Has she not thought about the flak this little boy will be getting from his peers as he gets to school age? It's out there, it's public, and they all will be having to contend with repercussions from it. So, momma, don't get defensive about it ... you have no right!
I think when they're big enough to climb up and get what they want, it's time to stop!
