I would think anyone who has had to come face to face to something as devastating as a diagnosis of cancer probably start with such a feeling of overwhelm and a feeling of not being able to conquer their situation. With a good support system, positive attitude, and the love of others (prayers, positive thoughts, etc.), it's amazing the strength we can gain. I've said many times, my heros are the ones who overcome life's battles that many of us probably think we could never handle.
Dean, I know you have a 'bucket list' and are very close to filling that bucket. Go get 'em, tiger! I love your strength.
For those who don't know, he and Roxi could easily be considered 'still newlyweds'!
Here's a quote from Dean: "Off of feeding tube and on soft diet, Still under house arrest, am seeing main doctor tomorrow and may lose feeding tube. Hope hope hope, still getting my strength back, was knocked down further than I thought. Will see chemo doctor the 12th to maybe start 2nd round of chemo for 9 weeks. All in all things are going pretty good considering."
Who is this little girl?
I am . . .
